o   Instead of summer retreat, we should just have more socials

·         Kid’s Carnival

o   Find a park and have games and maybe collab with other clubs to; preferably for Winter Quarter

o   Mostly just educating kids, and not actually doing hands on health things

o   Extended daycare to elementary schools around this area—pass around flyers for marketing

o   VCH: At a middle school

o   Pros:

·         Cheaper, teach kids about prevention

·         Do not need to provide more than just games

o   Cons:

§  Health fairs turn outs have been slowly decreasing

§  Having it at a park does not seem as trustworthy for parents

·         End of Winter: Should work with Red Cross with their event—would already have liability and transportation; we could just be another booth

·         Health Fair

o   Yay or nay? Send in a proposal and everybody needs to input

o   Reasons for not having health fair for BSP because we did not have locations/connections yet, but if we are for this idea

·         Cons:

o   Stressful

o   Need to get funding because equipment is expensive

o   Not many frats do health fairs because it takes a lot of devotion

o   DEM cannot do something by ourselves right now especially with so many plans for this upcoming year

·         Should make it smaller and just spread aware

o   Put more of our time and money in philanthropy

o   Should focus on awareness/prevention rather than treatment

·         CPR with American Heart Association

o   $40

·         STAND

o   Still under programming

o   Should stay in at the end of Spring for consistency

·         Should start off with Red Cross to get a feel

·         Blood drives are not that successful, not going with this idea anymore

·         FALL QUARTER: No programming (maybe CPR/Hypertension @ AHA); work towards BWP

·         WINTER QUARTER: Red Cross/Kid’s Carnival

·         SPRING QUARTER: STAND not as philanthropy but as house program
